Dr. Diane Langberg is globally recognized for her 50 years of clinical work with trauma victims. She has trained caregivers on six continents in responding to trauma and to the abuse of power. For 29 years she directed her own practice in Jenkintown PA – Diane Langberg Ph.D. & Associates. Now, in partnership with Dr. Phil Monroe, Langberg, Monroe & Associates continues this work which includes seventeen therapists with multiple specialties.  Dr. Langberg’s newest books are Redeeming Power: Understanding Authority and Abuse in the Church and In Our Lives First: Meditations for Counselors, Volume 2. Other books include Counseling Survivors of Sexual Abuse, On the Threshold of Hope (with accompanying workbook), In Our Lives First: Meditations for Counselors, and Suffering the Heart of God: How Trauma Destroys and Christ Restores.

John Freeman

As Founder of the organization he champions the mission of Harvest USA. John began his ministry with Harvest USA as a volunteer while still in seminary. He has a deep burden to see those who struggle with their sexuality, with pornography, or with sexual addictions to experience the truth and mercy of the gospel through Jesus Christ in order to live godly and faithful lives. John spends most of his time helping churches be equipped to better care for the hearts of individuals and families vulnerable to these struggles.

A native of Chattanooga, TN, John is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Westminster Theological Seminary, PA. In addition to his ministry with Harvest USA, John has served as adjunct faculty in the graduate counseling departments of Cairn University, Langhorne, PA and Center for Urban Theological Studies, Philadelphia, PA. He is a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). John and his wife, Penny, have been married for more than 30 years and have three grown children. Their home is in the Philadelphia area.

Joni Eareckson Tada

Joni Eareckson Tada is an esteemed Christian stateswoman and respected global leader in disability advocacy. Although a 1967 diving accident left her a quadriplegic, she emerged from rehabilitation with a determination to help others with similar disabilities. Mrs. Tada serves as CEO of Joni and Friends, a Christian organization which provides programs and services for thousands of special-needs families around the world. President Reagan appointed Mrs. Tada to the National Council on Disability, then reappointed by President George H.W. Bush. During her tenure, the ADA was passed and signed into law. Mrs. Tada served as advisor to Condoleezza Rice on the Disability Advisory Committee to the U.S. State Department. She served as Senior Associate for Disability Concerns for the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. The Colson Center on Christian Worldview awarded Joni Tada its prestigious William Wilberforce Award, and she was also inducted into Indiana Wesleyan University’s Society of World Changers. Joni Eareckson Tada has been awarded several honorary degrees, including Doctor of Humanities from Gordon College and Doctor of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. She is an effective communicator, sharing her inspirational message in books, through artwork, radio, and other media. Joni Tada served as General Editor of the Beyond Suffering Bible, a special edition published by Tyndale for people affected by disability. Joni and her husband Ken were married in 1982 and reside in Calabasas, California.

Julie Lowe has been faculty member at the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). She holds an MA in counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary. She is a licensed professional counselor with over twenty-two years of counseling experience. She has extensive experience with marriage, women’s issues, sexual abuse, body image issues, parenting, and child maltreatment issues, and regularly speaks on these topics. Julie is a registered play therapist and has developed a play therapy office and resources to serve families and youth. She is trained in leading mandated reporter trainings and provides numerous trainings on child sexual abuse. Julie has a registered therapy dog that she works with both professionally and on a volunteer basis.
